Selling a house in the middle of a pandemic

2020 has been a crazy year. We’ve all been forced to handle way more than we ever imagined this year. Whether it’s been the spring shut-downs, fear of COVID-19, worry for our health and that of our loved ones, homeschooling our kids, the tragic loss of someone important to us, economic hardship, Presidential election drama, or something else, I think we’re all ready to see this year end soon. One thing that DOES NOT have to add to your stress level is selling your property. We have a simple process, and we are happy to do what we can to make it easy for you, and keep you safe at the same time.

When you reach out to us, we’ll gather as much information as we can, and within an hour or two, will call you back with a small range of prices of what we would expect to pay you for your house. That way, we don’t even waste your time if selling your house to us doesn’t fit your needs. If our price sounds like a good option to you, then we’ll set a time for me to come see the property in person. When I arrive, I’ll be wearing a mask, and promise not to get too close! If it’s vacant, you don’t even have to be there. You can just hide a key, and I’ll lock it back up when I’m done, or you can wait outside while I take a look around if you prefer. If it’s occupied, we’ll set a good time that works best with the schedule of you and your family.

If we agree on a price and sign a purchase agreement, I’ll handle everything from there and will coordinate the closing with the title company. With us, you won’t have to deal with an inspector or appraiser coming by. If you want to play it safe (or just don’t want to change out of those pajamas), you can even do the closing remotely so you don’t have to come to the closing, and the money can just be wired directly to you. We’re willing to close on your time-frame, whether that’s really fast, really slow, or somewhere in the middle. Need to wait to close until you have the purchase of your next house scheduled as well? No problem. We can even do a back-to-back closing, and give you a few days to get moved from the old one to the new one.

No matter what, we at want to do whatever we can to make the sale of your house a painless, simple process that doesn’t add to any of the craziness that we’ve already had to deal with this year. As always, you won’t have to pay the closing costs or commissions when you sell to us. Just let us take care of the sale, and you can go back to that Zoom meeting…
